Cheese Variation: Feel free to experiment with different types of cheese. Traditional Brazilian recipes often use Queijo Minas, a Brazilian cheese. If you can't find it, mozzarella and Parmesan are great substitutes. Storage: These are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven to restore crispiness. Freezing Dough: You can freeze the dough balls on the baking sheet and then transfer them to a freezer bag. Bake them directly from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the baking time.
