Season according to recipe. To make Italian-style breadcrumbs, mix in dried herbs like oregano, basil, and garlic powder, along with grated Parmesan cheese. For a German twist, try adding finely minced parsley, and a dash of smoked paprika and Nutmeg. Breadcrumbs make a fantastic topping for baked dishes. Simply sprinkle over your dish before baking for an extra crunch. Mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and add them to the top of the homemade Mac and Cheese from the Meals book in The Gluten Free Kitchen Series right before baking it.
