Soft Pretzels

These Gluten-Free Soft Pretzels taste like the mall-pretzel magic you grew up with—soft, chewy centers, golden salty exteriors, and that classic pretzel flavor you thought you’d never get gluten-free. Made with clean, simple ingredients and perfected for maximum fluff and bend-without-breaking texture, they’re incredible dipped in honey butter, mustard, or cheese sauce. Freshly baked, cozy, and absolutely irresistible, these pretzels will disappear the second they hit the table.

We loved these! I followed the recipe and used fresh-milled grains for the flours.

These are some of my favorite pretzels! So soft and they taste like what I remember!! Glad you enjoyed them. You can also turn them into pretzel bites!

I prefer to make this recipe into pretzel bites because they go a lot further when sharing. I roll out like I’m going to make a pretzel then cut about 2” in length instead of twisting into a traditional pretzel shape. Friends always go crazy for them. Be sure to get pretzel salt. They also work great to freeze after the baking soda bath step then thaw about 30 minutes and bake fresh whenever you want them.
